Two hands-on training sessions in Clifton Springs will give residents the chance to learn lifesaving bleeding control techniques — for free.
The “Stop the Bleed” classes will take place on Thursday, Oct. 17, and Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 9 a.m. in the Auxiliary Room at Clifton Springs Hospital.
Participants will learn how to apply a tourniquet, pack a wound, and use bandages in emergency situations. The sessions also include hands-on practice and a certificate of completion.
