Schuyler County will host a community blood drive Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at its Human Services Complex in Montour Falls.
The drive will take place in Conference Room 120 at 323 Owego St., according to an American Red Cross flyer distributed by Schuyler County Public Health. The event is open to people who are eligible to donate blood.
Donors can make an appointment at RedCrossBlood.org using the sponsor code āschuylercntyhsā or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS. The flyer also lists the Red Cross Blood Donor App as a scheduling option.
The Red Cross asks eligible donors with type O, B-negative or A-negative blood to consider a Power Red donation. Donors can ask the Red Cross whether that option is available to them.
The drive is scheduled for the Schuyler County Human Services Complex, not the Public Health offices in Watkins Glen. Appointments and donor questions should be directed to the Red Cross through its website or phone number.
