A Canandaigua man was arrested multiple times in a short span after a string of threats, harassment and unpaid court appearances.
Oneil E. Lollis, 71, of Canandaigua, faces charges that include harassment, stalking, endangering a child and multiple bench warrants.
On September 16 at 7:56 p.m., officers arrested Lollis for harassment in the second degree and disorderly conduct after two women called 911. The callers said a man was yelling at them in a West Avenue business parking lot and had threatened to kill them. Officers found Lollis yelling at the women and took him to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
On September 18 at 9:56 p.m., police arrested Lollis for endangering the welfare of a child and stalking in the fourth degree. On September 22 at 7:56 p.m., officers arrested Lollis on Chapin Street for eight active bench warrants. The warrants stemmed from eight failures to appear in Canandaigua City Court. He was transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
On September 24 at 4:00 p.m., while still incarcerated, Lollis was served a criminal summons for harassment in the second degree. The summons relates to an alleged incident on Chapin Street in which he is accused of threatening to kill another resident of his apartment building.
