Deputies arrested a woman earlier this week after a crash in the Town of Ovid led to a felony DWI charge.
The suspect, identified as 37-year-old Robin A. Burton of Interlaken, was arrested Wednesday after a single-car property damage accident.
According to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Burton had a blood alcohol content of 0.21%. Because of a prior DWI conviction in 2018, this new charge is classified as a felony. She was also ticketed for moving from a lane unsafely.
No injuries were reported. Burton was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Ovid Town Court on November 18.
