A 22-year-old Penn Yan woman is facing a child endangerment charge after police say she left her infant alone in a shared entryway.
Faith N. Roper was arrested Thursday following a report of a young child being left unattended.
Officers say Roper left her seven-month-old outside the door of an apartment unit, in the common area of the building.
Roper was issued an appearance ticket for endangering the welfare of a child. She’s due in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
