Deputies arrested a Camillus teen last week after a traffic stop in the Town of Brutus led to a DWI investigation.
Joseph W. Garrigan, 19, was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired by drugs and alcohol, and several traffic violations following an incident on Jericho Road on September 18.
According to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy on patrol spotted a verbal dispute between two drivers around 2:50 p.m. Further investigation revealed Garrigan was operating his vehicle while impaired. He was taken into custody and refused a chemical breath test at the Sheriff’s Office.
Garrigan was later arraigned and released with a court date scheduled in Brutus Town Court.
