A 22-year-old Port Byron woman has pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide after a deadly 2024 crash, according to The Citizen.
Kaitlyn Kudla admitted she was under the influence when she lost control of her car in Onondaga, killing passenger Riley Besner and injuring another. Prosecutors say she initially lied to deputies, denying she had been drinking.
She faces five to ten years in state prison at her Nov. 24 sentencing. Additional charges included manslaughter, assault, reckless driving, and filing a false statement.
