Young pitchers will take the mound this weekend as Practice Time Sports finishes its September clinic series with two days focused on one of the game’s most critical skills.
On September 27–28, athletes ages 6–16 will work with coaches on pitching mechanics, arm care, control, and confidence — all in small groups capped at 15 players.
“Pitching is the heartbeat of the game,” said Chris Harris, owner of Practice Time Sports. “Even if an athlete isn’t a full-time pitcher, learning the basics adds versatility and deepens their understanding of how games are played.”
The pitching weekend marks the final session in a four-part clinic series that launched earlier this month. Players have spent the past three weekends training in fielding, hitting, and catching — each session designed to build a well-rounded foundation and keep kids active in the offseason.
“Our message all month has been clear: the offseason is an opportunity, not a break,” Harris said. “When kids practice even once a week, they see real improvement by the time next season starts.”
Each session costs $25, or families can purchase the full four-week bundle for $90. Practice Time Sports plans to offer more clinics throughout the year.
