A former Cornell lab manager admitted to sending graphic death threats days before flying to New York, according to WSYR.
Jerry Gordon pleaded guilty Sept. 5 to threatening a man from Aurora via text, vowing to kill him and “drink your blood from the chalice that I will make out of your heart.” Gordon also posted about mass killings and a sniper setup before his April arrest by the FBI at Syracuse Airport.
Gordon, who left Cornell in 2023, faces up to 5 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. His sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 24.
