Josh Allen wasted no time showing why he’s the reigning NFL MVP.
The Buffalo Bills quarterback earned AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors after leading the team to a stunning Week 1 comeback over the Baltimore Ravens.
Allen totaled 424 yards of offense, 394 passing and 30 rushing, while accounting for four touchdowns, two through the air and two on the ground. He completed 33-of-46 passes and delivered a historic fourth quarter, throwing for 251 yards, the most by a quarterback in a victory since 1996. In that same span, he became the first player in league history to top 250 passing yards and score two rushing touchdowns in a single quarter.
Allen logged his fifth career game with at least 300 passing yards and two rushing touchdowns, an NFL best, and holds the mark for most games with 350 passing yards, two passing scores and two rushing scores.
