Traffic stop leads to DWI charge in Canandaigua

A 21-year-old man from Tonawanda was charged with driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop in Canandaigua.

Police say Nolan J. Wiser was pulled over around 1:51 a.m. on August 23 for speeding on North Main Street. During the stop, officers observed signs of intoxication and placed him under arrest.


Wiser was released on an appearance ticket.

He’s scheduled to appear in City of Canandaigua Court at a later date.
