Felice enters race for Fayette Town Court judge

Christopher Felice, a longtime law enforcement officer and local education leader, is running for Fayette Town Court Justice this November.

Felice announced his candidacy Friday, saying he hopes to bring fairness, integrity, and accountability to the role.

He retired from the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office in 2024 after more than two decades of service. His work included patrol, major crimes, and specialized investigations involving children, vulnerable adults, and domestic violence.

In 2016, he was assigned to the county’s new Family Services Unit. He helped develop protocols tied to New York’s “Raise the Age” law, which shifted how young offenders are treated in the justice system.

Since 2022, Felice has also served as a Trustee on the Waterloo Central School District Board of Education. He was elected Board President in 2024 and again in 2025.

“I have spent my entire adult life serving the people of Seneca County,” Felice said in the announcement. “As a judge, I will bring an unbiased and fair mindset to the bench, ensuring that every case is handled with respect, transparency, and a commitment to justice.”

Felice has lived in Fayette since 2017. The Town Court Justice election will take place during the November general election.
