Powerball players in 9 NY towns win $50K each

Nine lucky Powerball players across New York won $50,000 third-place prizes in the September 1 drawing, according to the New York Lottery.

The winning tickets were sold in Bronx, Buffalo, Chittenango, Ilion, Kings Park, Mechanicville, Ridgewood, Saratoga Springs, and Troy.

Here’s where each $50,000 ticket was purchased:

The Powerball drawing takes place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m., with numbers drawn from a pool of 1 to 69 and the red Power Ball from a separate pool of 1 to 26.
