A Penn Yan man has been charged following a months-long investigation into suspected drugs found during a traffic stop earlier this year.
According to the Penn Yan Police Department, 63-year-old Ralph G. Hullings Jr. was arrested on August 18 after lab results confirmed he possessed Buprenorphine, a Schedule III controlled substance, without a prescription.
The drugs were originally discovered during a traffic-related arrest in April 2025. Hullings was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and issued an appearance ticket for Penn Yan Village Court.
The investigation was handled by Officer Eldridge.
