Ithaca planners approved a 56-unit senior housing project from INHS on West State Street, aiming to meet a fall grant deadline, according to The Ithaca Voice. The five-story building will also feature a daycare on the ground floor.
Other projects advanced too, including a 150-bedroom Collegetown apartment building and Cornell’s new Hillel center. A redesign of a mixed-use West End building sparked debate over bike rack placement, delaying a full vote.
Meanwhile, planners pushed back on oversized signs for a downtown apartment complex, signaling stricter standards ahead.
