Rochester man arrested in $100K Farmington vehicle theft, deputy injured

A Rochester man was taken into custody this week after an investigation into a six-figure vehicle theft in Farmington.

Chaz Keon Davis, 42, was arrested on August 20 at a home on Forgham Circle in Rochester. Deputies say Davis, along with two others, used false pretenses to obtain two vehicles worth over $100,000 from a Farmington business on August 11.

During the initial investigation, Davis allegedly fled while being advised of his rights and caused injury to a deputy. The deputy was treated at FF Thompson Hospital and has since returned to duty.

Two others—Iselynn and Patrick Johnson—were arrested the same day as the original incident.

Davis was arraigned at CAP Court and is being held at the Ontario County Jail. He’s scheduled to appear in Farmington Town Court at a later date.
