Ithaca College has agreed to a $1.5 million settlement over its 2020 switch to remote learning, according to WENY News.
The class action suit claimed the school breached its contract by not offering in-person classes. Eligible students will get a payment, a grad school tuition credit, and an Alumni Weekend ticket.
A judge will review the deal at an October 28 hearing. Ithaca denies wrongdoing.
