Drivers passing through one of Seneca Falls’ busiest family spots will now see a new reminder to slow down.
The Town of Seneca Falls Police Department announced the installation of a speed radar in front of Kids Territory, placed there thanks to an anonymous donor.
The area sees a steady flow of pedestrians year-round, especially during Little League season when traffic often spikes. Police say the radar is meant to encourage safer driving where children and families regularly cross.
They’re asking drivers to watch their speed and stay alert through the stretch.
