A man wanted on rape charges turned himself in Friday morning at the Yates County Public Safety Building, according to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say 30-year-old Thomas Plan, a dual citizen of the United Kingdom and Germany, was arrested on a Superior Court warrant for first- and third-degree rape.
Investigators say the charges are tied to a 2024 incident that led to a Yates County grand jury indictment. Plan was arraigned in Yates County Court and sent to jail on $10,000 cash bail.
The sheriff’s office said no other agencies were involved in the arrest.
