Auburn plans to use $750,000 in state funds to repave North Street this year, according to The Citizen.
City leaders chose North over Lake Avenue after consulting with state officials, who said North Street likely won’t get a state-funded overhaul until 2030. It’s also the source of the most road-related claims filed with the city.
Lake Avenue will now be repaved in 2026, aligning with a scheduled bridge project in the same area.
