Waterloo man damaged property, harmed child during domestic

A Waterloo man is facing charges after police say a domestic incident left property damaged and a child harmed.

The Waterloo Police Department says Nelson Brink Jr., 37, was arrested around 3:27 a.m. on August 8 for Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Officers allege Brink destroyed property and caused mental and emotional harm to a child who was in the home at the time.
