An SUV crashed into a Hopewell home Thursday morning, leaving a disabled Army veteran and his family displaced, according to RochesterFirst.com. No one was home during the crash, which happened around 8 a.m. on Routes 5 & 20.
The driver, Sequan Broadus, was charged with DWAI after investigators said he was under the influence of marijuana. His vehicle slammed into the home’s kitchen at roughly 70 mph, shifting the foundation by three inches.
The Templar family is now staying in a hotel. A GoFundMe has been set up to help cover repair costs not covered by insurance.
