Live music venue in Canandaigua eyes Nashville-style future

Lincoln on Main, a live entertainment venue in downtown Canandaigua, is staying open as it undergoes major renovations, according to the Finger Lakes Times. Owner Brian Mastrosimone—also behind Lincoln Hill Farms—transformed the former Villager restaurant into a multi-bar, banquet-ready space aiming to revive the local nightlife scene.

Mastrosimone entered the entertainment world after a trademark dispute with KFC led him to launch music events. Now, Lincoln on Main hosts jam bands and comedy acts while preparing for a full transformation by 2027. He says grant funding could accelerate progress and expand the venue’s offerings.

His goal is to attract visitors from neighboring counties and create a Finger Lakes hotspot with a vibe similar to Nashville’s music culture.
