Senator Pam Helming joined the Rush community for its annual Volunteer Fire Department Parade, standing in support of the local firefighters during the department’s largest fundraiser of the year.
The event, held July 24–26 at 1971 Rush Mendon Road, is part of the Rush Fire Department’s annual carnival—a tradition that brings families together in celebration and support of local volunteers.
“Thank you to Chief Faigh, President Heidi Sweet, Supervisor Woolaver, and all the dedicated members of the Rush Fire Department for organizing such a well-planned and spirited community celebration,” Helming said. “Our volunteer firefighters give so much of themselves to protect others, and I will always stand with them in support.”
The parade drew local leaders and residents alike to honor the service and dedication of volunteer firefighters who play a critical role in public safety across the region.
