Fairgoers heading to the 2025 Great New York State Fair can once again ride directly to the gates by train, according to RochesterFirst. Amtrak, Governor Kathy Hochul, and state transportation officials announced daily direct service will run from August 20 through Labor Day.
Select Empire Service and Maple Leaf trains will make daily stops at the fairgrounds, offering convenience and cost savings on gas and parking. Discounted tickets are available through Amtrak’s “See NY and Save” program.
The Fair will feature concerts, food, exhibits, and more. Admission remains $8 for adults, with free entry for kids under 12 and seniors 65 and older.
