Customers of New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG) and Rochester Gas & Electric (RG&E) can get one-on-one support at a Community Connection event in Wayne County next week, the companies announced Friday.
The event will take place Wednesday, July 23, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Wayne County Public Safety Building, 7376 Route 31 in Lyons. Representatives will assist customers on a first-come, first-served basis with billing concerns and available financial assistance programs.
“There will not be a formal presentation at the event,” the companies said. “Customers are encouraged to show up anytime during the available time slot.”
The outreach is part of an ongoing effort by NYSEG and RG&E to provide direct, in-person service and connect customers with resources to manage their energy costs.
