Montezuma man charged after alleged phone threat

A Montezuma man was arrested last week after allegedly threatening to damage someone’s property during a phone call, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrested 34-year-old Adam W. Wiggins around 10 p.m. on July 11 following an investigation into a harassment complaint at a residence in the Town of Brutus. Authorities say the threat was made earlier that evening.
