A Rochester man is facing multiple charges after being stopped while riding a motorcycle under the influence in the Town of Fayette, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Tim Thompson reported that 66-year-old John A. Onderdonk was arrested around 5:00 p.m. on July 6 after failing to stop at a stop sign near East Lake Road and Lerch Road. A Sheriff’s Sergeant pulled Onderdonk over and discovered he had a passenger and had just left a local business where both had consumed alcohol.
Onderdonk was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol concentration of .08% or higher (.11% recorded), and failing to stop at a stop sign. He was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Fayette Court on August 1.
