Greece police issue arrest warrant for bakery owner: He also faces charges in Ontario County

A man already facing multiple charges in Ontario and Genesee counties is now wanted in Monroe County, according to Greece police. A warrant has been issued for 35-year-old Matthew Belk, who is charged with grand larceny and unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Belk was previously arrested in Canandaigua on June 28 after being found with a stolen van, two stolen credit cards, and suspected cocaine. Two days later, he was arrested again for trespassing on the Tonawanda Seneca Nation reservation in Genesee County.

Police believe Belk owns Jackson’s Bakery in Greece, which was recently shut down by health officials for violations. Authorities continue to search for him.
