Charity hockey game returns to Cornell’s Lynah Rink

Racker Rivals Big Red hits the ice again July 12 at Cornell’s Lynah Rink, bringing hockey stars and fans together for a day of fun and fundraising. Current and former Cornell players, including Coach Mike Schafer, will headline the charity match.

The event kicks off with a Family Skate, followed by a two-period game and shootout at 4 p.m. The first 350 fans receive a free foam finger or seat cushion. Proceeds support Racker’s early childhood programs for children with disabilities.

Launched in 2014 by Cornell alum Topher Scott, the event has grown into a major fundraiser thanks to continued support from the university, hockey community, and local sponsors.
