A Wayne County woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after allegedly speeding through the Town of Galen.
Hallie L. Ford, 24, of Arcadia, was pulled over on July 8 at 8:43 p.m. after deputies observed her driving 72 mph in a 45 mph zone, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office. During the traffic stop, deputies determined Ford was intoxicated.
Ford was taken to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, where she voluntarily submitted to a chemical test. Her blood alcohol content registered at 0.15%, nearly twice the legal limit. She was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving with .08 of one percent or more of alcohol, and speeding.
Ford was issued appearance tickets and released. She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Galen Court at a later date.
