Auburn woman arrested on larceny, bail jumping warrants

An early morning arrest in Seneca Falls led to the detention of a woman wanted on two separate bench warrants tied to a 2022 theft case.

Police arrested Rebecca Gould, 57, of Auburn, at 3:30 a.m. on July 5. The first warrant stemmed from a petit larceny charge in December 2022, after Gould was released with an appearance ticket but failed to appear in court. The second warrant charged her with bail jumping in the third degree, also connected to the same incident.

After previously being released on her own recognizance and again failing to appear despite proper notice, Gould was taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
