An Angelica man is facing felony charges after a deadly 2024 crash in Steuben County that killed his passenger. Lukas J. Ellsessor, 31, was arrested July 1 and charged with vehicular manslaughter, reckless endangerment, and impaired driving.
State Police say Ellsessor tried to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone on Route 371 before losing control and rolling his Dodge Caravan. Passenger Adrian V. Gregory-Kielbasa, 26, was ejected and died at the scene.
Ellsessor suffered minor injuries and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital. He remains in custody pending further court proceedings.
