The Southern Tier Chapter of the American Red Cross will hold a free “Readiness Expo” on July 19 in Bath, N.Y., offering residents tools to prepare for emergencies and disasters. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bath VFW Auxiliary on Route 54.
Attendees can tour emergency vehicles, learn hands-only CPR, explore disaster response techniques, and get tips on fire safety, shelter operations, and blood donations. Volunteers will be available to share experiences and explain how to get involved.
The Red Cross assisted over 300 families in the region this year. The expo will include giveaways, snacks, and water while supplies last.
