The Democratic Party in Farmington has officially nominated two candidates for the upcoming November 4 election to the Town Council: Aubrae Lamparella and Matt Guilfoil.

Lamparella, who grew up in Farmington, returned with her husband to raise their family in the same community that shaped her youth. She brings a background in environmental science and sustainability and will also appear on the Common Ground independent line.

Guilfoil, a licensed clinical social worker, is a lifelong resident of the Farmington-Victor area. He has also received the endorsement of the Working Families Party for the general election ballot.

Both candidates emphasized their commitment to helping the Town Council grow alongside Farmington while maintaining the town’s unique character and sense of community.
