A new retail space dedicated to sustainable living will open its doors in downtown Penn Yan next month, bringing a fresh mission-driven concept to Main Street.
Sweet Farm Provisions, part of the nonprofit Sweet Farm Foundation based in Himrod, will celebrate its grand opening on Friday, July 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 107 Main Street.
The store will offer curated, eco-friendly products that reflect the foundation’s values of environmental stewardship, animal welfare, and community support. Goods range from bamboo cleaning tools to fresh flowers and produce from the farm.
“All purchases, whether in-store, online, or at the farm, go directly toward supporting our work,” said Nate Salpeter, co-founder of Sweet Farm. “That includes rescuing and caring for animals, donating produce into our local community, and educating the public about sustainable living.”
Visitors to the grand opening can browse products, sample plant-based treats, and learn simple ways to reduce their environmental impact.
Sweet Farm’s broader mission includes animal rescue, regenerative agriculture, and outreach programs designed to help people, animals, and the planet thrive together.
