A Sodus woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop prompted by a 911 call, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office announced.
Deputies arrested Kendra Burgess, 24, of Shaver Street, after responding to a vehicle and traffic complaint in the Town of Sodus. The incident occurred on May 17, with the arrest made on June 24 following an investigation.
Deputies observed multiple traffic violations before initiating a stop. Burgess was suspected of operating the vehicle while intoxicated and later submitted to a blood test, which confirmed her blood alcohol content was above 0.08%.
Burgess was processed at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and released with an appearance ticket for Town of Sodus Court.
