A mother and daughter from Rochester were arrested Wednesday in connection with a string of high-value retail thefts at stores in Victor, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.

Jaquanda N. Peterkin, 42, and her daughter, Siavaija T. Lewis, 24, were taken into custody on June 25 on arrest warrants for grand larceny in the fourth degree. Investigators allege they stole $2,045 worth of merchandise from Lululemon on April 1.

Both women were also charged with resisting arrest during the execution of the warrants. According to the sheriff’s office, Lewis faces additional charges of grand larceny in the third degree for two separate thefts at Ulta Beauty on April 28 and April 30, when she allegedly stole $4,049 in fragrances.

Authorities previously arrested another individual, Fantasia Speed, in connection with the Lululemon theft. Investigators have not announced further charges related to the case.

Peterkin and Lewis were arraigned at the Ontario County Jail and released without bail.
