The Ontario County Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual State of the State Legislative Breakfast on Tuesday, drawing local leaders to Hotel Canandaigua for a morning of policy updates and dialogue.
Around 65 business owners, officials, and residents attended the June 24 event, which featured remarks from Senator Pam Helming and Assemblywoman Andrea Bailey. The lawmakers discussed pressing topics affecting the Finger Lakes region, including workforce development, housing, economic growth, and healthcare access.
“This event is about connection — making sure our members have access to the decision-makers shaping policies that directly impact our region,” said Chamber President & CEO Tracey Dello Stritto. “We appreciate Senator Helming and Assemblywoman Bailey taking the time to engage in meaningful dialogue with our business community.”
The event concluded with a question-and-answer session, offering attendees the opportunity to raise concerns and pose questions on issues facing their industries and neighborhoods.
