Cornell’s ILR School has launched the National Conflict Resolution Service (NCRS) to strengthen U.S. labor relations, the university announced. Created by the Scheinman Institute in partnership with the American Arbitration Association, the new program offers mediation, training, and relationship-building support for labor-management conflicts.

Javier Ramirez, a former federal mediator with decades of experience, will lead the initiative. NCRS aims to expand access to dispute resolution and provide professional development for both new and seasoned mediators and arbitrators.

The AAA will help connect workplace dispute cases with qualified arbitrators as part of this national effort.
