Amy Navor has been named the new executive director of the Finger Lakes Wine Alliance, the group announced, according to the Finger Lakes Times. She replaces Kyle Anne Pallischeck, who is transitioning to a leadership role at the New York Wine and Grape Foundation.
Navor, a Rochester native with over 15 years in the wine and spirits industry, brings branding and marketing experience from companies like Constellation Brands. She plans to boost the region’s visibility and launch new programs to benefit member wineries.
Founded in 2004, the Alliance promotes over 150 Finger Lakes wineries. Navor’s local ties and national expertise were key factors in her selection after a national search.
