Clifton Springs man arrested after repeated 911 calls, resisting arrest

  • Staff Report

A Clifton Springs man faces multiple charges after allegedly making over 20 illegitimate 911 calls and resisting arrest at his residence on June 12, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrested Bradley C. Young, 65, at the Foster Block Apartments on Crane Street around 9:13 p.m. He was initially wanted on a warrant for aggravated harassment in the second degree.

When deputies attempted to take Young into custody, he allegedly tried to retreat into his apartment and resisted arrest. Authorities say Young had placed approximately 21 non-emergency calls to Ontario County 911 the day prior, which led to additional charges of obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.

Young was transported to the Ontario County Jail and held for CAP Court. He is expected to appear in Manchester Town Court at a later date.
