A Lyons woman was arrested Tuesday evening after deputies executed a bench warrant for failing to appear in court on a contraband charge.
Seneca County Sheriff Timothy Thompson said Stephanie Weaver, 42, was taken into custody around 5:15 PM on June 3 in the Town of Romulus. The warrant stemmed from a misdemeanor charge of introducing contraband into prison in the second degree.
Deputies executed the warrant after Weaver was transferred to the custody of the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Division by another law enforcement agency for a separate charge.
No additional details were released regarding the separate incident or pending court appearances.
