A Lodi man was arrested Tuesday evening after crashing his vehicle into a ditch while allegedly driving under the influence.
Seneca County Sheriff Timothy Thompson reported that deputies arrested Elijah Liebson, 30, around 6:00 PM on June 3 in the Town of Lodi. The arrest followed a property damage accident on Lodi Center Road, where witnesses saw Liebson drive off the roadway into a ditch.
Deputies conducted field sobriety tests at the scene and later administered a chemical breath test, which recorded a blood alcohol content of 0.13%.
Liebson was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and multiple traffic violations. He was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Lodi Town Court on July 17 to answer the charges.
