Tompkins County will hold its annual property tax foreclosure auction online from June 12–23, offering parcels for public bidding through the Finance Department’s website, according to Tompkins Weekly.
Lawmakers also approved a major reshuffling of county departments as part of ongoing Center of Government planning. The updated blueprint outlines which agencies will occupy key buildings, including the renovated Old Jail and the new Center of Government complex at North Tioga and East Buffalo Streets.
Additionally, the Legislature recognized May as both Community Action Month and Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, while honoring Memorial Day with a formal proclamation.
