A 42-year-old man died early Friday after crashing his vehicle into a tree on Jerusalem Hill Road in the Town of Elmira. Deputies responded to the scene around 4:30 a.m. and found the driver unresponsive behind the wheel.
He was taken to Arnot Ogden Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities confirmed he was alone in the vehicle at the time of the crash. An investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
