A Farmington man was arrested earlier this month after allegedly violating a court order by attempting to contact a protected individual.
Dustin Duffy, 37, was taken into custody on May 12 at 7:36 a.m. and charged with Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree. The arrest followed an investigation into an incident reported on April 27.
According to authorities, Duffy attempted to engage in conversation with a person who had an active stay-away order of protection against him. Following the investigation, deputies determined a violation had occurred and placed Duffy under arrest.
He was transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
