A Canandaigua man is facing multiple charges after allegedly entering a home without permission and later threatening the resident.
John D. Kirby, 53, was arrested on May 12 at 5:30 p.m. for Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree and Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree. The arrest followed a harassment report filed on May 9 involving a Bristol Street address.
Investigators determined that Kirby entered another person’s residence without consent and refused to leave when ordered. After police escorted him out, Kirby allegedly sent the victim a text message threatening to kill them.
Kirby was taken into custody and transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
