Tiffany Rotz has entered the race for a seat on the Seneca Falls Town Board, citing frustration with current leadership and a desire to protect her community’s future.
“I am disheartened by the current state of local politics,” Rotz said. “We were sold a bag of goods. And now, with what I see happening, I need to get involved to protect my children’s future, and the future of this community.”
Rotz pledged to bring transparency, accountability, and a fact-based approach to local government. She criticized what she called wasteful spending driven by personal conflicts among officials and called for respectful treatment of all constituents, regardless of differing views.
“I stand firm on my principles… and won’t compromise my values just to gain votes,” she said. “We should run our government in a transparent and upstanding way, not with backdoor deals and making misguided promises to get our way.”
Rotz’s candidacy is backed by the Seneca Falls Republican Committee and the Republican Women of Seneca County. She proposes running the town “like a business with a personal touch,” focusing on local economic growth, efficiency, and strategic planning.
A longtime local resident, Rotz noted her roots in public service. Her father, Kyle Collinsworth Sr., is a Romulus Town Judge, and her mother, Melody Collinsworth, serves on the Romulus town board. Rotz is completing her MBA and lives in Seneca Falls with her husband, an investigator for the town’s police department, and their children.
“Most days you’ll see me running with my kids biking beside me throughout the town,” she said, adding that she also coaches youth soccer and frequents local ballfields.
