Deputies: Manlius man had BAC three-times legal limit in Cayuga Co.

Deputies arrested a Manlius man Saturday after responding to reports of suspicious behavior outside a residence in the Village of Weedsport.

The suspect, Brian J. Hahn, 38, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated DWI after registering a .25% blood alcohol content, the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday.

Officers were dispatched around 4:27 p.m. on May 10 following a report that a male subject was acting abnormally after driving a vehicle. Investigators determined that Hahn had operated the vehicle while intoxicated. He was processed at the Public Safety Building, where he submitted a breath sample.

He was released and is scheduled to appear in the Village of Weedsport Court on May 19 at 7:00 p.m.

Anyone with further information about the case is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 315-253-1222 or submit a tip anonymously through the county’s website or SaferWatch app.
